Thailand is set to revolutionize its immigration process with the launch of the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) on May 1, 2025. This new system replaces the traditional TM6 paper form, aiming to streamline entry procedures, enhance security, and improve the overall travel experience for international visitors.
The TDAC is an online immigration form that all foreign travelers must complete within 72 hours before arriving in Thailand. It collects essential information such as personal details, passport data, travel itinerary, accommodation in Thailand, and a basic health declaration. This digital approach eliminates the need for paper forms, reducing processing times at immigration checkpoints and allowing for more efficient data management by Thai authorities.
All non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land, or sea are required to complete the TDAC. Exceptions include travelers transiting without passing through immigration control and those entering with a Border Pass.
