Omkareshwar is a Hindu temple dedicated to God Shiva. It is one of the 12 revered Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva. It is on an island called Mandhata or Shivapuri in the Narmada river; the shape of the island is said to be like the Hindu ॐ symbol. There are two main temples of Lord Shiva here, one to Omkareshwar (whose name means “Lord of Omkaara or the Lord of the Om Sound”) located in the island and one to Amareshwar (whose name means “Immortal lord” or “lord of the Immortals or Devas”) located on the south bank of Narmada River on the mainland.
Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and one of the twelve Jyotirlingams, shrines which are said to be the most sacred abodes of Lord Shiva. It is located in the ancient city of Ujjain in the state of Madhya Pradesh, India. The temple is situated on the side of the holy river KShipra. The presiding deity, Lord Shiva in the lingam form is believed to be Swayambhu, deriving currents of power (Shakti) from within itself as against the other images and lingams that are ritually established and invested with mantra-shakti.
Kal Bhairav Temple is a Hindu temple located in the Ujjain, It is dedicated to Kal Bhairav, the guardian deity of the city. It is one of the most active temples in the city, visited by hundreds of devotees daily. Liquor is one of the offerings made to the temple deity.
Departure from New Delhi Railway Station at 21:45 hrs by train no. 12416 – Indore Intercity Super Fast Express (3AC).Overnight train journey.
Arrival at Indore Railway Station at 10:05 hours. Pickup from Indore Railway Station to Omkareshwar by AC vehicle on sharing basis as per group size.(3 hrs approx.) Check-in at Hotel. Lunch on own. Darshan at the Omkareshwar Jyotirlinga. Late evening return to Hotel. Dinner (only veg) & overnight stay at hotel. (In case of non-availability of hotel in Omkareshwar, Hotel accommodation in Indore shall be provided)
Breakfast. Morning drive to Indore. Enroute lunch on own. Visit Rajwada Palace in Indore (entrance on direct payment), later, drive to Ujjain, Mahakaleshwar. Check in at hotel in Ujjain. Dinner at hotel (only veg). Overnight stay at hotel.
Morning Mahakal jyotirlinga darshan followed by Harsiddhi Shaktipeeth temple.Check out from hotel. Lunch on your own. Visit to Kal Bhairav Temple. Later, transfer to Ujjain Railway Station around 17:30 hrs for your train (12415) at 18:30 hours for New Delhi. Overnight Train Journey.
Arrival New Delhi at 06:20 hrs.
There are limited number of double bedded rooms at the hotel. Therefore, most of the guests are accommodated in rooms having twin beds. Request for double bedded rooms can be made at the reception of the hotel during the time of Check in. However, the request can be entertained subject to availability.
Check-in and Check Out time in hotels is 12 noon. Although we take due care that check-in is provided early and late check out is permitted, under unavoidable circumstances, check in/check out may have to be maintained as per Hotel Policy.
AGGARWAL HOLIDAYS reserves the right to cancel the Tour Programme at any point of time arising out of various exigencies beyond its control. In such an event, maximum liability of AGGARWAL HOLIDAYS shall be limited to the Package Amount paid by the guest.
The package price is as on date of booking. However, in case of increase in input costs such as railway fare or any other expenses beyond the control of AGGARWAL HOLIDAYS, the guests are liable to pay the additional amount before commencement of journey.
AGGARWAL HOLIDAYS reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances, including but not limited to, bad weather, train delays/cancellations etc. Under such circumstances, AGGARWAL HOLIDAYS shall make best alternative arrangements guest are liable to pay any additional costs for making such arrangements. AGGARWAL HOLIDAYS shall not be responsible for any loss of sight-seeing, visits to planned sites in the itinerary.
AGGARWAL HOLIDAYS doesn't guarantee Darshan at the shrines/places of interest/monuments mentioned in the itinerary.
Seat allocation in trains is done in a random manner and AGGARWAL HOLIDAYS shall not entertain requests for any preferential seat allocation.
It is mandatory to carry the identity proof provided by the client at the time of booking .The other passengers travelling need to carry a valid photo id card during the package tour. The valid Photo ID Card are Aadhaar, Voter id card, Passport, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Credit Cards with Photo, Cards issued by Central/State Government and Student ID cards with photo issued by School/College for their students.
While in hotel, please follow house rules. If you wish to use the swimming pool, please carry your own swimming costumes.
Tour is subject to operation in case minimum booking of 2 passengers on twin/single fare is received.
While we take due care in keeping the information on these pages updated, train timings, hotel rules, opening & closing hours at monuments/ museums/ parks/ gardens/ shrines and sites mentioned in the itinerary etc. may change and may not be updated on the pages. AGGARWAL HOLIDAYS does not take any responsibility for such changes. There will be no refund for un-utilized services.
You will have to strictly follow the tour program. There would be no refund if you fail to join the group at the commencement of the tour, or join the group later or leave the group before culmination of the tour for any reasons whatsoever. Under no circumstances would any refund be given for any unutilized services. You shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or annoyance to other co-travellers or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property of the Company, co-travellers or others. In this event, you may be asked to leave the tour immediately. The Company shall be under no liability to any such person.
